A Rumi's Quote.
' Yesterday I was clever So I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise , so I am changing myself '.
Rumi tries to explain that there is a great great difference between cleverness and wisdom. Cleverness is something which comes from overconfidence and ego. But the wisdom comes when we keep aside our ego and appreciate what is right and true.
Rumi was a man who had understood the reality of the existence. Such men try to make actual difference. Trying to change the people is a very foolish act and one should completely focus on changing himself. So when one changes, the actual impact it does on the rest of the world is very big. We can observe it through science or through a simple common sense. All his energy influences the another in a thousand possible ways. So when one starts to change himself, he himself does not know how much big difference it will make in our lives. But we underestimate this fact and live life as others are living in ignorance. We are afraid to stand alone and take responsibility.
